“My family and I have been registered with Stapenhill Dental Care for several years now and have no complaints. I have been registered with other dentists over the years and can honestly say that this one outshines the rest. We are all extremely happy with the level of quality care we receive time we visit.
Kerry, the receptionist is always friendly and courteous both over the telephone and in person. She always greets you with a smile and knows you by name. She is quick to respond to queries and I always feel that she does her best to find appointments to suit my family.
I do think that Dr James is a wonderful dentist. He is always patient and kind and I am confident that no matter what the problem he will be able to deal with it. He always manages to put you at ease and his claim to practise pain free dentistry is generally true! He keeps a light atmosphere during treatment – chatting to you and explaining the proceedure. The banter between
Dr James and Emma, the dental nurse is always friendly and amusing and helps to distract! I feel that he understands any concerns I may have and I am comfortable to ask questions that may arise.
My children always look forward to seeing their dentist. Dr James made their first visit fun when they were small and that has stuck ever since. They look forward to choosing a sticker after their treatment.
Finding a good dentist is not easy, we found Dr James via a referral and we are happy to refer him to others.
We no longer live in Burton but still travel a 100 mile round trip as we all value our dentist and the other staff. I hope Dr James has no plans for early retirement as his shoes will be very hard to fill.”

Well, if it were a hotel or a holiday it would be quite easy.
You already have an idea of what it’s going to be like because of the glossy brochure, how many “stars” it has been awarded, and if you’re still not convinced there is always “Trip Advisor” or some other forum, where you can check out what previous visitors think.
On that basis this is how I would “rate” Stapenhill Dental Care”
Accommodation (well in this case the premises) – 5 star
Cleanliness – 5 star
Friendliness of staff – 5 star
Quality of Advice given – 5 star
Punctuality of Appointment – 5 star
Availability in case of emergency – 5 star
Ease of parking close by – 2 star
Quality of treatment – 7 star (well there is a hotel in Dubai with 7 stars!)
Overall – 5 star
Staff deserving of a “special” mention – Well they all do! From the moment you walk into reception, all the staff have that rare quality of being happy, and the ability of making you feel at ease in what is (lets be honest here) a place that most of us don’t feel entirely comfortable in (although at Stapenhill Dental Care there is no reason why you shouldn’t feel at ease and comfortable).
Dentistry has changed, it is no longer a place to be worried about, and this practice has proved that it can be a pleasant, comfortable and informative environment.
If it were a restaurant we would be talking “Michelin Stars”…..
If it were a book we would be saying “A must read – Highly Recommended”.
If it were a song we would be saying “Number 1”
But… It’s Stapenhill Dental Care, and I would say “probably the best dental practice in the ……” (Or has someone else used that line?).”

“I have been a customer for probably about 10 years now.
I always find the experience of visiting a pleasure. All staff are welcoming and polite and courteous and a complete credit to the practice.
From the moment I arrive at reception I’m welcomed and greeted with my name which makes the whole thing a very personal experience.
Whether it be a check up, treatment or clean and polish I’d say it’s a delight to visit.
I have recently had an issue whereby it should have been treated at hospital but after a very bad experience at Burton hospital and in effect being turned away and misdiagnosed/untreated. I turned to Mr James for help in a quite desperate situation and they managed to fit me in around their already busy schedule and after 3 appointments in the space of a week I was sorted out and on the mend. I can’t say thank you enough because without Mr James and his team I don’t know what I would have done!
I’m on a dental plan which works great for me that means I pay a very reasonable monthly fee and I get 2 appointments and 2 hygienists visits per year and then a reduced rate on any treatments I need. This works great for me.
I also get a text message to my mobile to remind me of appointments which I find really useful.
I’d highly recommend Stapenhill dental practice to anyone and find them extremely professional in every way.

Here’s my carefully worded testimonial as I have left out the bits we couldn’t possibly publish….lol
When I moved to Burton I was terrified to sign up to a dental practice due to the bad experiences I had with previous dentists.
I am so glad that I called Stapenhill Dental Care as from the first call to the actual appointment I was put at ease by all the friendly staff.
I have gone from someone totally rigid with fear to actually looking forward to seeing everyone at the surgery! In fact if I could I would try to go more often as I am always made to feel welcome, important & totally taken care of in a professional & friendly manner.
I would highly recommend Alistair & his team to anyone & in particular those with a nervous disposition such as my own. They are all excellent at their jobs & go that extra mile to make sure you leave feeling better than when you arrived. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff & I know that if I had an emergency that Alistair would go out of his way to see me & sort out any problem calmly & to the highest standards.
If I ever have to move location I would travel hundreds of miles to keep my appointments as I can’t imagine being looked after so well elsewhere.
Hope that’s ok & doesn’t sound too sugary sweet or gushing as it is all totally true!
Of course I haven’t mentioned that we are all always late as we chat so much & have such a laugh but feel free to put something like that if you think it would work for you!
