Routine Preventive Dentistry

Here at Stapenhill Dental Practice we believe that prevention is just as important as the cure. So we not only provide solutions to your dental problems we work with you to prevent any treatment being necessary.

We provide many preventive treatments including:

• Routine check-ups – to make sure any problems are detected as early as possible.
• Fissure sealants – a plastic coating to stop dental decay in its tracks before fillings are necessary.
• Regular oral hygiene appointments with our hygienist – to prevent and remove build-up of tartar which could cause gum disease, and to give you the vital oral hygiene instruction to maintain your gum health at home.
• Treatment for sensitivity – we can use coatings on particularly sensitive areas to prevent needing more involved treatment later, i.e. fillings.
• White fillings
• Amalgam fillings

If you find treatment necessary, we do offer a range of routine treatments to solve any dental issues.
