The Sunday Sun’s Fabulous Magazine has printed a letter from a parent of a four-year-old, concerned about her daughter’s bad breath and whitish-yellow coating on her tongue.
Dr Hilary advised the parent to ask the family’s GP to take a look at the child’s tonsils and check for signs of enlarged adenoid glands or nasal congestion, and advised against the parent’s suggestion of removing dairy foods from the child’s diet, as they contain essential nutrients.
