The team from Stapenhill Dental Care recently turned to their wild side to help raise funds for charity.
The pack competed in a gruelling 10km ’Wolf Run’, an off-road obstacle run in rural Warwickshire to raise funds for St Giles Hospital.
Competitors of the Wolf Run climb, jump, wade, crawl, swim and run across 10km of harsh terrain including woodlands, obstacles, lakes, mud pits and fields.
The team of dentists Sam Duncan, Alistair James along with Shelly Cadd and Matthew Molloy took part in June and completed the challenge in an impressive time.
Nurse Shelly commented “St Giles is a charity that is close to all our hearts and we wanted a challenging way in which to raise funds. We certainly got that! On the starting line as we started at the chilly, murky lake we were about to wade through we did start to wonder what we had gotten ourselves into. We soon forgot our worries and thoroughly enjoyed the physical and mental challenges the course threw at us”.
